Hours after Hillary Clinton criticized Donald Trump’s temperament, he responded with a similar shot at his Democratic opponent in the race for president.
Donald Trump’s campaign is painting Hillary Clinton as a proponent of the status quo as she prepares to deliver an economic speech in MI.
Clinton’s campaign also released 10 years of years of returns from running mate Tim Kaine and his wife, Anne Holton. The former CT congressman praised Clinton for her willingness to work with House Republicans and Democrats and for being “solution-oriented”.
Asked in an interview with CNBC Thursday whether it was appropriate for him to call the sitting president of the United States the founder of a terrorist organization that wants to kill Americans, Trump doubled down on his accusation.
Both candidates chose tightly contested MI – specifically, the Detroit area – to make their updated economic pitches.
The August 10 broadcast of Cam & Company offered no substantive discussion of Trump’s comment, only turning to the remark near the end of the broadcast to immediately dismiss it as a “manufactured controversy” and then using it to pivot to attack Clinton. White youth were divided, with 30 percent backing Clinton and 26 percent for Trump. Earlier this week he caused a major stir with comments about the Second Amendment that were perceived as advocating violence against Clinton, and found himself facing questions yet again after declaring on Wednesday that President Barack Obama was the “founder” of the Islamic State group – a claim that’s patently false.
