In Nevada, Bush says key to winning is to campaign with joy

In the speech, Bush arguing the departure of U.S. forces from Iraq in 2011 under their watch allowed Islamic State militants to take hold in the Middle East. Dean Heller of Nevada and Orrin Hatch of Utah during a campaign stop in Reno on Wednesday. “They are based on flawed policy”, Bush said. “I think being transparent about these things is the proper way to go”.

“Look, we have serious problems”, he said.
He called on local leaders to get more engaged in recognizing the problem, adding that “perception becomes reality, and there is racism in America”.

Protesters shouting the chant – an apparent reference to the Black Lives Matter movement, which seeks to draw attention to police shootings and poverty in black communities – only briefly and sporadically interrupted the meat of Bush’s roughly half-hour speech to around 150 people gathered at the Pearson Community Center. “That leader is Jeb Bush“, Heller said in a statement provided by the Bush campaign.
