Trump claims sarcasm in ISIS comments

The Republican presidential nominee is straying from his signature bravado as he campaigns in the battleground state of Florida. The same day, the reality show star acknowledged that his lack of political correctness could cost him the election if Americans reject his blunt approach.

He told the crowd he used sarcasm when calling President Obama and Hillary Clinton the co-founders of ISIS. Trump tweeted: “THEY DON’T GET SARCASM?” When Clinton’s campaign cried foul, Trump blamed her for trying to “divert attention from the dishonest behavior of herself and her husband”.
