Trump says repeated assertions Obama founded ISIS were sarcasm
Look, ISIS could have been knocked out, it could have been knocked out pretty swiftly. But he then added, “Therefore, he was the founder if ISIS”. He is the founder of ISIS. He is the founder.

“He is the founder of ISIS and Hillary Clinton is right there with him”.
“I call president Obama the founders of ISIS”.
“What Mr. Trump has clearly pointed out is that under Obama and under [former] Secretary of State [Hillary] Clinton, ISIS has achieved unprecedented success because of the environment that they created”, Hoekstra told “Newsmax Prime” host J.D. Hayworth. “I do. He was the most valuable player. He gets the most valuable player award”. And I give it to him, and I give it to, I gave the co-founder to Hillary.
HH: But he’s not sympathetic to them. “I do”, Trump said, using one acronym for the group. He was the founder. “[ISIS] honors President Obama” for getting the terrorist organization started. “He hates them. He’s trying to kill them”, Hewitt said, but found himself unable to budge Trump, at the time, from his position.
President Barack Obama talks about the war on terrorism and efforts to degrade and destroy the Islamic State group, during a news conference at the Pentagon in Washington, Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016.
In reality, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who built upon the work of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, founded the Islamic State. It is run by terrorists.
Who is ultimately responsible for all the damage that has been done to ISIS?
We rated Trump’s statement trousers on Fire.
USA intelligence estimates the US-led coalition has also killed at least 135 of ISIS leaders.
The White House declined to comment on Trump’s claim. Most people call it ISIS; he calls it ISIL. The group began as Iraq’s local affiliate of al-Qaida, the group that attacked the USA on September 11, 2001. It was, of course, George W. Bush’s decision to invade Iraq in 2003. “If he would have done things properly, you wouldn’t have had ISIS”, he said of Obama. We destabilized the Middle East and we’ve been paying the price for it for years. The United States pulled out combat troops in 2011. About 200 Marines would stay to train the Iraqi army and act as security for diplomatic personnel.
A congressional Joint Task Force (JTF) described CENTCOM’s analysis of the U.S. efforts to train Iraqi forces and combat DAESH in Iraq and Syria from mid-2014 until mid-2015 as “manipulating” and causing “persistent problems” with personnel, including “leadership deficiencies”.
Clinton’s winning the poll competition with Trump, building her lead in multiple polls. She later said she regretted that vote.
“So many of his answers appear to be stream-of-consciousness responses, so slamming on the brakes as an interviewer and saying, “Well, you don’t really mean that literally” gives him a chance to either retract or “double down” as he did with the Islamic State claim, Sesno said.
The comments were quickly taken apart by fact-checkers, and blasted by Clinton, his Democratic rival. IS, however, continued to gain strength as the USA -backed Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki who led the country, favouring his fellow Shiites over Sunni Iraqis. Yet, the group still inspires or backs terror attacks around the world. “They’re the founders”, Trump said.
It was only two days earlier that Trump blamed the media for making much ado about nothing after he suggested during a rally that gun rights enthusiasts might find a way to stop Clinton if elected.
Donald Trump faced serious backlash after calling President Barack Obama the founder of ISIS at a rally on Wednesday.
He made the claim again at a rally Thursday night in Kissimmee, Florida.
