Amid rising tension between New Delhi and Islamabad over the Kashmir issue, Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting Pakistan on August 4, to attend the SAARC Home Ministers’ meet.

Soofi, the main speaker, pointed out that under all definitions of global law India is an occupying force in Kashmir, which can neither make any demographic changes in the territory nor allow any third party to acquire land in it – referring to the Amarnath Trust land transfer dispute which triggered the revival of the freedom movement in Kashmir in the recent years.

Haq proposed Pakistan should establish a fund to support injured Kashmiris.

Saeed also expressed his anger over visa denial to a group of Pakistani doctors who wanted to visit Kashmir.

Last week Rajnath Singh accused Pakistan of trying to destabilise India, saying it was responsible for worsening the situation in the Kashmir valley by constantly attempting to “mislead” the youth.

He said that Pakistan should break off diplomatic ties with India till the final settlement of Kashmir. At this they did not talk about the human rights.

He appealed to Islamabad to use its influence at the worldwide level and help resolve the Kashmir dispute.

Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State, Home Affairs, said that he wasn’t surprised with all that has been happening in PoK.

He said Pakistan has been told that it can not be in denial on the impact of terrorism on the bilateral ties, and it must expeditiously bring to justice all those guilty of Mumbai terror attack as well as of the Pathankot strike.

Locals have alleged that the PoK elections are always in favour of the ruling party in Pakistan, which in the current scenario is the PML-N.
