SAMSUNG UNVEILED the long-awaited Galaxy Note 7 on Tuesday, and the big-screened smartphone will arrive on United Kingdom shelves on 2 September.

As well as an iris scanner, the Note7 includes a fingerprint sensor, Samsung’s Knox security platform, and a secure folder for storing personal information, all of which is created to give customers the confidence to use the phone for work and for tasks like mobile payments.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is gonna be accompanied by a new intelligent smart pen which has been dubbed as “S PEN”.

As of the camera department, Samsung has included a 12 megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS and dual pixel technology.

That’s why the new Note 7, which was announced Tuesday, looks a lot like Samsung’s previous plus-sized smartphones, the Note 5 and S6 Edge+. For Sprint, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, the unit will not be available for actual purchase until August 19, with pre-orders starting on August 3. This enables the users to unlock their devices by scanning their eyes instead of fingers, which is the case of the Galaxy Note 4. Paying full price, a user is US can buy the Galaxy Note 7 for $840 (approx RS 56,000) on Sprint’s website, $864 on Verizon and $880 (approx Rs 59,000) on AT&T.

Under the hood, an octocore processor combines with 4GB of Ram to give this handset just about the most powerful performance you can now get on a mobile device. Even though the phone’s size is more or less same compared to Note 5, it is fantastic that Samsung has given 500 mAh bigger battery in the Note 7. The S Pen, for sure, but also a range of waterproof features that I find really interesting.

The Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and Note 5 may not be the newest phones in Samsung’s lineup, but they’re still solid Android devices with high-end specs.

Colors: Black Onyx, Blue Coral, Silver Titanium, and Gold Platinum (available only internationally).

Expandable memory: A microSD slot will “support up to 256 GB”.

While listing the features of the Note 7, he said, “Do you know what else it comes with?”

The Mi Note 2 may actually come in two different variants, a standard flat-screened model and a higher-end curved version. And the phone can also be used with Samsung’s 4K Gear 360 camera, which shoots 360-degree photos and videos that can be posted to Facebook and YouTube.
