“I then looked up (at the scoreboard) and was like, ‘Oh yeah, we did score in every inning, ‘” Carter said.

Making his second start of the season, Roberto Hernandez (1-1) gave up five runs and seven hits in four innings. The Brewers’ relief corps had tossed four scoreless innings before the Braves got to Carlos Torres (2-2) in his third inning of work.
“Man, he put a good swing on that ball”, Braves interim manager Brian Snitker said.
Braves: RHP Joel De La Cruz (0-4, 3.41 ERA) makes his fifth start of the season and first against Milwaukee.
Brewers: OF Domingo Santana (right elbow soreness) will play in his third game of a rehab assignment on Thursday with Class A Wisconsin.
Milwaukee tied it up three batters into the third after Jonathan Villar led off with a bunt single, and Orlando Arcia and Ryan Braun both singled to right. He is 0-4 with a 4.93 ERA in six career starts against them. He limited the Cardinals to one run over six innings in his last start.
The Brewers claimed Scahill off waivers last week from Pittsburgh, where he had a 4.41 ERA in 15 appearances this season.

The Braves won 4-3 in 12 innings on Monday and 2-1 on Tuesday.
