National Football League executive Troy Vincent takes blame for Hall of Fame Game mishap

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who sued on behalf of fans who showed up for Super Bowl XLV with tickets that didn’t correspond to actual seats, told Pro Football Talk that he will sue the NFL over Sunday’s canceled Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.

“Due to safety concerns with the condition of the playing surface in Canton, tonight’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers has been cancelled”.

Fierle also says details about ticket refunds can be accessed through the Pro Football Hall of Fame web site. “Suisham led the charge this offseason on this issue, which helped result in the creation of a joint committee between the National Football League and NFLPA to monitor field conditions, including at non-traditional venues like Canton”.

According to the report, a large amount of the field’s issues came down to the application of the paint.

The league and the NFL Players Association issued a joint statement Sunday expressing regret over the cancellation.

“You see a lot of chunks (of grass) flying up”, he said. However, the National Football League now does not plan to discuss moving the August contest out of Canton, Joe Scalzo of the Canton Repository reports.

Neither the Colts nor the Packers were available for comment on Monday, but both coaches expressed disappointment on Sunday night about the lost opportunity to evaluate, even though four more games remain before the regular season.

He was referring to the attempt to protect the health of the players in a unsafe sport, which is exactly why the game was called off. The paint turned to a tar like substance basically ruining the playing field. The substance they were trying to get the paint off with, I can promise you, was not health-conscious at all.

“But at the end of the day, youve got to remember what theyre built for. “Really? To not have that ready for a game that they knew was happening”. He said the union has heard from other teams that the fields there can be soft because of the rain. We’re going to thoroughly look at what occurred to make this not happen. And while the league and the Hall spun the cancellation as a “Player Safety” concern and are patting themselves on the backs for making such a decision, many fans in attendance were livid.
