Two die in hit-and-run crash
Two people have died in a hit-and-run crash on the south coast.

The two victims had been sitting in a parked vehicle, police added.
Police said the driver of the other vehicle ran from the scene but was later arrested.
The accident happened in King Edwards Parade close to the junction with Bolsover Road at around 9.30pm.
Two people sitting in the same parked auto were pronounced dead at the scene. “He is now assisting police with their inquiries”.
The 23-year-old, also from Eastbourne, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by risky driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and failing to stop after a road traffic collision, and remains in police custody. Sadly, two were pronounced dead at the scene.
“The driver of the other vehicle decamped from the scene and was later arrested”.
