Children were among 300 screaming passengers and crew filmed fleeing from the cabin of a crashed Emirates plane at Dubai Airport, moments before it burst into a fireball on the runway.

Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world, was closed for several hours as emergency crews cleared the incident.
Incredibly, all passengers are reported to have been evacuated safely before the plane was engulfed in flames.
Meanwhile, the operations at the Dubai International Airport remained disrupted with delays and flight cancellations persisting.
All departure flights from the airport have been delayed until further notice, it added.
Hot weather could have been responsible for the fireball that followed the crash-landing of an Emirates airliner at Dubai’s main airport which left one firefighter dead, an aviation expert has said.
Passengers have said that the pilot had warned them of problems with the landing gear and said that he would be making an emergency landing.
Flight Radar, a third party website say that fights that were scheduled to arrive at DXB were diverted to multiple airport Muscat, Bahrain and Al Ain. This was due to unavailability of runway at Dubai airport, said airport sources.
“The airport gradually started resuming operations around 6.30 p.m. local time on Wednesday night”, an airline spokesperson said. Long-haul flights operated by wide-body planes were given priority. Similarly, budget air carrier SpiceJet said all its flights have been cancelled in this route. Emirates operates routes to Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Yinchuan and Zhengzhou.

According to Quest, Dubai-based Emirates is the largest airline in the world by available seat kilometers, while Dubai (DBX) is now the busiest worldwide airport for global passengers.
