Yesterday, it was reported that some Reddit users were plotting to hold Ocean’s brother hostage as a way to coax the album out, while one fan wrote Frank a letter to capture the conflicted emotions of the project being so close yet so far.

The R&B singer’s sophomore album “Boys Don’t Cry” was supposedly set to release in July, then August 5 and now fans are frantically speculating November 13, thanks to a cryptic library due date card featured on Ocean’s website. But the newest release date could be the most reliable we’ve had yet.
In case Frank Ocean fans are anxious about missing the news of his album finally dropping, there’s an app for that. Meanwhile, the buzz about it suddenly stopped over the weekend, which confused the internet over the album’s upcoming arrival. It automatically scans Spotify, iTunes and Twitter for Frank Ocean news and will send out an alert to subscribers as soon as something has been released.

Though no official release date has been confirmed, those who want to be updated regarding the album’s release can go to a website to receive a text message for when the album releases. They asked Apple Support when the album would drop and they were told in the next “24 -72” hours.
