Man Utd’s winger Januzaj loaned to Sunderland

Januzaj’s signing follows hot on the heels of the Black Cats double swoop for Red Devils duo Donald Love and Paddy McNair and the Belgium global will be greeted with another familiar face at the Stadium of Light as he joins up with former United boss David Moyes.

Louis van Gaal mostly used him in the Under-21s in his first season in charge before sending him off on loan to Dortmund in a poor move that was terminated early.

The trio will go straight into the Sunderland squad for Saturday’s Premier League opener at Manchester City.

The Belgian has once again been shipped out for the upcoming campaign, but Mourinho confirmed that the player does still have a future at Old Trafford. “If he doesn’t fit in my plans, I don’t care where he is going, I just send him to Borussia Dortmund where he didn’t play one match”, he told reporters.

Now re-united with Moyes after signing for Sunderland on a season long loan, the Scot is confident about restoring Januzaj to his blistering best this season.

“He’s coming to a manager who trusts him and believes in him but he’s not really featured for the past couple of years”.

“We can not be selfish and have to think about the players and, in this case, Adnan”.

“But I watched him at PSV many times and having THAT player in mind, I want to keep him”. We see him every week in this country, we can compare performances. It was a knee injury which he had last season and he went to the Euros and hoped to be okay, but since he’s come back and done a bit of pre-season.
