Milner and Sturridge doubtful for Arsenal opener – Klopp

It’s been another busy summer on Merseyside, both in and out, with Saido Mane probably the pick of their six signings so far.

Karius, besides his golden-god looks, is exciting by virtue of being not Mignolet.

“It’s about timing. If you are involved in flawless game then it’s a good position to be in for the next game”.

Yes, Migs will be starting on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp might follow the typical example set by Jose Mourinho of how ruthless coaches should be when it involves injury prone players by either demoting them or forcing them to leave the club.

As ever, injuries have been a hindrance for Jurgen Klopp but Arsenal also have several players missing this weekend, particularly in defence. “That’s what I’m looking forward to – the opportunity to win something”. It would seem prudent to bring in a veteran with only a few years left in his legs, is what I’m saying. He can play in any of the four positions in attack and it looks like he will play on the right for Liverpool.

TLO: We’re gonna win the league.

He was asked about the arrival of the new managers to the league – Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola. It’s the best day to meet Arsenal because it’s the only day we could choose, so I am happy about it.

It wasn’t a one off either, we’ve seen it before in flashes, especially away from home.

TSF: Predicted lineup for this weekend?

“I’m feeling even more anxiety”. The fundamental issue here is deciding between: (a) 4-2-3-1; or (b) 4-3-3. Jordan Henderson or James Milner? We didn’t think a second about this. The likes of Sturridge, Coutinho and Mane will be licking their lips. A straight swap with Divock Origi, or pushing Roberto Firmino up top and having Lallana in the team.

“The best thing is we don’t play”, he said. There won’t be a better time to play Arsenal this season.

Klopp believes Arsenal changed their usual style of play and utilised the long ball against Liverpool, and the former Borussia Dortmund boss is expecting more of the same at the Emirates on Sunday. “It’s a bruise in the heel”. That is what we have to make a final decision on.

Pushing the two Brazilians into the shadows at times is key in order to give his manager and side a balanced attack that can hurt teams from each area of the pitch.
