United manager Jose Mourinho justified Pogba’s fee and accused the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool of lacking the aura to attract eminent players.

Juventus have confirmed the transfer fee of €105 million (£89.3 million, $116.4 million).
Paul Pogba is finally a Manchester United player once again after completing a record breaking transfer from Juventus.
Carrick, 35, signed a new deal with the club in the summer and Mourinho admits his intelligence and tactical nous are invaluable to him.
Former United captain Rio Ferdinand was at the club during Pogba’s first stint at Old Trafford and believes he won’t let the pressure of living up to such a huge fee affect his performances.
United have drafted into obscurity since Sir Alex Ferguson retired but under Mourinho we have everything we need to get right back to the top where we belong.
“He will have to depend on the club and their atmosphere”.
English clubs have endured a disappointing period in European football over recent years, with Chelsea the only club to win the Champions League since United’s 2008 success.
“This is the challenge facing Pogba: can he drag United forward in the hard moments?”
Eric Bailly, Henrik Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have all joined the club ahead of this weekend’s league opener at Bournemouth on Sunday.
He said: “Man United has to be in the Champions League”. “First my mum told me I would come back here and I told her, ‘You never know, you’ll see'”. He’s very mobile, he can get past players, and if Rooney plays at No.10, he can fill in at times if Pogba runs past. “But we respect the money we have – it is very hard to find the quality of players who are available”. No doubt that Pogba has talent and youth on his side, however Manchester United nearly lost the respect of the footballing world chasing him.

The Portuguese made the declaration on the backdrop of failure by his predecessor Louis van Gaal to drag the team to a top-four finish in the Premier League last season.
