Trump for good relations with Russia, China

The US Republican presidential nominee on Sunday suggested that the people of the annexed Crimean Peninsula preferred Russian Federation over Ukraine.

Kramer says Manafort’s role also involved strategy, “advising Yanukovych to exploit wedge issues”, especially ethnic and linguistic divisions in Ukraine, “which is quite a fragile country”.

Donald Trump has “helpfully” cleared up his relationship with Vladimir Putin by affirming that the Russian President has never bought him dinner.

Reporting from the GOP convention, the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza said he’d spoken to a Republican congressman who said the “most under-covered story of convention” is Team Trump’s efforts to change the party platform “to be more pro-Putin”. He wondered on Twitter in 2013 whether Putin would show up at the Miss Universe beauty pageant in Moscow-“if so, will he become my new best friend?”

But on one topic, Trump is conspicuously incurious: the suggestion that he is complicit in a plan by Vladimir Putin to influence the USA election.

In his July speech in Moscow, Page said that if the USA were to lift sanctions on Russia, American companies could begin to work with Russian entities in the oil business, according to the Huffington Post. Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort consulted for former Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich, a key Putin ally, until his ouster in February 2014. But I will say, this is the – this is – the circumstance sometimes that, that – that happens.

“I’m going to take a look at it”.

Trump answered, “Well, I don’t know what it means by having a relationship”.

“When I said in an interview that Putin ‘is not going into Ukraine, you can mark it down, ‘ I am saying if I am President”.

Rizatdinova – the daughter of a Tatar Muslim and an ethnic Russian – comes from the city of Simferopol in Crimea but moved to train in Ukraine’s capital Kiev at the age of 16. Russian Federation has deviated from that twice, in Georgia in 2008 and again in Ukraine. Does he not know that? “What else doesn’t he know?”

Today, he gamely repeated Putin’s argument that Russian Federation was justified in seizing the sovereign territory of another country by force”.

“Then they talk about Donald Trump and Russian Federation, or Donald Trump, but believe me, folks, somebody can say nice things about me, he did call me a genius but these are minor details, somebody can say nice things about me, it has, it makes no difference”, he said, adding he does not care about people calling bad things about him. “You have to look at that”.

Donald Trump attempted today to clarify his comments that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not have forces in Ukraine.

Mr Trump’s comments attracted mockery from all sides with Hillary Clinton’s spokesman, Jake Sullivan, saying: “While Trump hasn’t mastered basic facts about the world, he has mastered Putin’s talking points on Crimea (which, of course, the United States and most of the world still recognizes as part of Ukraine)”. “He views Russian Federation as a foreign power head that has its own interests at stake, and we, the United States, have to put America’s interest first”.

Trump said it would be a “great thing” if the United States got along with Russian Federation and if Russian Federation would help fight ISIS.
