Father and accountant of Jessica Simpson sue Hollywood exec, accuse him of
12 (UPI) – ‘s father, Joe, is embroiled in a authorized battle with a California businessman claiming he’s owed a $12 million fee.

Joe Simpson claims the guy suing him, Jessica and family for $12 million is simply trying to extort the Simpson family over a supposed deal that never came to fruition.
Though it would be hard for Bowler to provide proof of the arrangement if it was done over the phone ten years ago.
But Bowler is entitled to nothing because the one company he brought to the table under the 2009 deal never signed a contract, according to the Simpson lawsuit.
Bowler believes the Simpsons owe him 10 percent of the apparent $120 million majority stake deal.

Jessica and her mother Tina Simpson began the company in 2006.
The branding was an immediate success and The Jessica Simpson Collection has since expanded to almost two dozen licenses for women and juniors clothing, handbags, sunglasses, accessories, jewellery, shoes and perfumes.
