‘Arsenal can win the Premier League title,’ says Jack Wilshere
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels the Premier League is more competitive than ever due to the presence of the best managers in the world, but is adamant it is still the players that make the difference. After we beat Leicester at home last season, we dropped off a little bit.

Arsenal’s preparations for the new Premier League season have been anything but smooth, particularly in defence, where the side’s two top centre-backs have suffered injuries in the preseason.
The Frenchman said: “Who expected Leicester to be champion last season?”
“Today you have to take into account seven or eight teams who can win it”. There’s always a surprising team and then you have the six or seven big clubs who have the ambition to win it.
“Last season, they [Arsenal] finished second and they have gained a lot of experience over the years”, Squillaci told Goal.
England worldwide Wilshere, hoping his injury nightmare is behind him, has highlighted how Arsenal can improve to win the title this season.
The 22-year-old started against Barcelona but could only manage 45 minutes and only played the first half in the 4-0 defeat against Mainz 05 on Sunday.
“We can’t wait. Pre-season seems to drag on and we want to get down to business and get the first game of the Premier League out of the way”, he added.
The only good news is that Koscielny isn’t hurt and simply needs more time to get back to fitness, having gone all the way to the Euro final and only joined up with Arsenal for training this week. “What I will do is work as long as I have the physical potential to work”.
Arsene Wenger has admitted he is finding it “very difficult” to find quality players in the transfer market – but hasn’t given up hope of doing so. “I see the same hunger, if not even more”.

“Maybe he was a bit exhausted, I don’t know”. He just keeps going each year.
