Twitter Giving Companies Access To Its Entire Archive
Back in April 2014, Twitter acquired Gnip and allowed it to function as a separate company alongside Twitter.

The company announced on its official blog that developers will soon have “instant and complete access” to every historical public tweet in a Full-Archive Search tool.
The new tool is expected to enhance the art of analyzing past product launches, which should help in shedding more light on what ought to be done at the present to achieve a successful launch.
The Full-Archive Search API combines the most important aspects of two of Gnip’s most popular offerings to solve enterprise business needs with user experiences not previously possible. He added it will also help companies compile historical tweet insights for new analytics customers, create real-time Twitter data activity benchmarks for advertising campaigns and use past tweets to better respond to new customer service inquiries.
The new API is based on Gnip’s Historical PowerTrack and 30-Day Search API tools, which offer companies a 30-day window into a user’s tweet history.
During its beta testing, the Full Archive Search API was successfully tested and integrated into the services provided by companies like NUVI, NetBase, SocialBro, Livefyre, Pulsar, Sprout Social, and Brandwatch.
