No Man’s Sky suffers launch issues on PC, patch incoming for PS4

I’ve encountered other issues as well. Games like World of Warcraft or Battlefield have had similar launch problems. Many of these players have gone to the Steam Community forums and review section to voice their frustration. For some it is so bad the game is basically unplayable.

I had to exit the application and reload it, which meant I lost all of my progress since my last restore point save. Developer Sean Murray has confirmed a quick patch released for the game. This came as a surprise to the developers but the first patch remedies this by including this needed library as part of the install process.

Murray added that they had already released a patch to help rectify numerous issues now plaguing the No Man’s Sky PC version, and hopefully following the above instructions irons out any other problems that players may be experiencing.
