“Contact them and ask them to find out about the plight of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, and highlight it before the global community” said PM in his statement at all party meet.

This is the worst situation in the kashmir valley after the violent protest in 2010. However, he said that the percentage of miscreants, who are brainwashing the youth in the valley, is low. “No one is talking about trade or holding candles at the border any more”, he says-a mocking reference to vigils held by Pakistan’s peace lobby at Wagah, the only crossing point along the 2,900km (1,800 mile) border with India (see picture).

The meeting will be an opportunity for the parties to discuss all the aspects of the problem candidly and suggest viable solutions.

The daily, however, criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for merely reiterating New Delhi’s long-standing position on Jammu and Kashmir despite a wave of unrest in the Kashmir Valley. “Pakistan now stands completely exposed”. On RAW’s alleged operations from Afghanistan and Iran, he said that many times Pakistani high officials released a statement in which attention was drawn towards the fact that foreign soil was being used against Pakistan.

He asked the External Affairs Ministry to contact residents of PoK staying overseas and get information from them about the pathetic conditions in PoK and let the world know the fact. India is occupying Kashmir illegally but even its brutalities in the valley could not affect the Kashmiris movement of independence.

He also expressed gratitude to all the parties for raising concerns with regard to the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Modi said that his government was committed to national security, but there can not be any compromise with the country’s regional integrity. Pakistan will have to answer for launching violence in our state. However, Jaitley clarified to the press that the Prime Minister’s comment came only in the backdrop of Pakistan’s repeated attempts to interference in our internal matters and did not reflect on the Indian policy on Pakistan.

To deal with the recent unrest in wake of brutal killing of Kashmiri independence commander Burhan Wani, suggestions were made by parties at the meeting.

Modi also pointed to the human rights violation in Balochistan and said that too needs to be highlighted.

In two separate letters, Sharif called upon the world bodies to implement UN Security Council Resolutions that provide for the self-determination of the Kashmiri people, the Prime Minister’s House said on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to glean information about the “pitiable conditions in PoK” from migrants from that part of Kashmir in all parts of the world and share it with worldwide community.
