Williams, in his second year with the Cornhuskers, was cited and arrested by the Lincoln Police Department at roughly 1:45 a.m. with a.15 blood alcohol level. The legal limit is.08. According to the LPD report, this was Williams’ third DUI-related offense.

Last season players coached by Williams combined for more than 200 receptions, almost 2,800 yards and 23 touchdown receptions and helped Nebraska to its greatest passing yardage total since 2008.

“The Nebraska Athletics Department is aware of the incident involving Assistant Coach Keith Williams”. He played collegiately as a wide receiver at San Diego State from 1991-93. Bad timing for the Huskers as they were hosting a five-star wide recruit, Joseph Lewis, this weekend.

Williams has a contract through 2017 that pays him $400,000 a year, after receiving a pay bump from the $275,000 he made his first year in Lincoln.
