Back in March, when Microsoft officially introduced the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade for Windows Phone devices, the company chose to leave behind almost 50 percent of its existing model lineup, so only half of the phones in its ecosystem could install the new OS.
For this to work however, the player needs to create a Pokemon Trainer account which can only be created from the iOS or Android version of the game. But, there are many developers who have managed to get Pokemon Go running on Windows Phones by tugging the original app of the game. However, Niantic is detecting unauthorised installations of the said game and is banning the users permanently from using Pokemon Go. The third-party app called PoGo UWP is a client for using Pokemon Go on Windows Phones.
According to a report of the Softpedia that without legally collaborating with Niantic, a team of skilled developers for Windows Phone are working to bring Pokemon Go game on Windows Phones.
A significant chunk of Windows Phone users will not be able to use the official Skype app as it reaches the end of the road for Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1. Even though support will no longer be available on these versions of Windows Phone, Microsoft has revealed till when the apps will continue to work with some limitations and when they will stop working on Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1.
PoGo is an Universal Windows Platform (UWP) client for Niantic’s Pokemon Go Android/iOS game. By the shift toward modern infrastructure will enable users to enhance the experience on all gadgets, once the company takes to start to offer it.

Whereas the news that Microsoft’s ending support for older apps in “early 2017” will be disappointing to Skype users specifically on the affected operating systems, that may be the reason for each of us could feel comfortable in the fact that this time Windows could possibly be overlapped by the release of company’s rumour that new hardware for smartphones would come. “Please also do not ask for new builds”, reads the post on GitHub.
