Is Beyonce on the cover of Vogue’s September issue?

In the believed-September issue, the Flawless singer strikes a fierce pose sporting wet hair and gorgeous purple Marc Jacobs ensemble with the accompanied text: “Just B: Beyoncé and the Art of Global Domination”.

And that was the thinking behind her stunning photo shoot for the September issue of Vogue, of which she is also the resplendent cover star. The influential issue was also the subject of a 2009 documentary showing the behind-the-scenes drama following Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her staff during the production of the September 2007 edition.

The issue is expected to be officially released on Friday. (See: Jennifer Lawrence’s 2013 September Issue, as well as last year’s “Instagirls” cover.).

This is Beyonce’s third U.S. Vogue cover ever.

The 33-year-old superstar looks incredible in the striking shots, taken by famed photographer Mario Testino, for the fashion tome’s annual big-fashion autumn issue. If the cover is indeed real, Beyonce will make history by becoming the first African American female musician to be featured on the cover of Vogue’s September Issue.

Meanwhile, Beyonce was recently in news for splurging $337,000 on a pair of diamond-encrusted stilettos for her upcoming music video.

However, the fact that the image has emerged from Beyonce’s fan community and not from some fashion insider raises doubts about its legitimacy, as does the presence of serif fonts which rarely feature in Vogue’s cover design. The shoes are reportedly from the Princess Constellation collection of Birmingham-based designer Christopher Michael Shellis. Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
