United States presidential race: Trump calls Obama and Clinton ISIL founders

Donald Trump is repeating his claim that he was “being sarcastic” when he called President Barack Obama “the founder” of the Islamic State terror group.

Trump has previously backtracked on controversial comments by implying he was only joking. “Everybody in this country knows exactly what Donald Trump means, whether it be on that or other issues”.
