Trump today tried to calm down the situation by saying he was being sarcastic.

As he often does, the Republican presidential nominee accused the news media of misconstruing something he said.

And new polls showed Clinton with substantial leads over the real estate mogul in the key battleground states of Florida, North Carolina, Virginia and Colorado.

Trump first made the unfounded claim on Wednesday and repeated it through the week.

Gov. Rick Snyder and three of Michigan’s nine Republican U.S. House members – Justin Amash, Fred Upton and Bill Huizenga – aren’t endorsing Trump.

Minutes after releasing her returns, Clinton tweeted that it’s possible Trump paid no tax at all. When Clintons campaign cried foul, Trump blamed her for trying to “divert attention from the dishonest behavior of herself and her husband.” Also, the media.

Nasrallah’s remarks come after USA ally Saudi Arabia, along with Gulf Cooperation Council countries, labeled Hezbollah a terrorist organization in March, blacklisting companies and individuals with ties to the group.

The vice president also plans to say Trump is clueless on the needs of working families.

Dominating news last week were Trump’s remark that Second Amendment backers could “do something” if Hillary Clinton is elected president and appoints liberal judges.

Asked to explain Trump’s comment last week, campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson made a gaffe of her own, characterizing USA military efforts in Afghanistan as “Obama’s war” – despite the fact that it began seven years before Obama took office, during President George W. Bush’s presidency. Under these terms, her campaign against Trump makes complete and total sense. He also suggested the Mideast would be more stable were Saddam still in power.
