Shots fired at JFK airport terminal
The New York Fire Department said a call came in at 9:38pm local time for reports of shots fired at the airport, CBS News reported.

The Port Authority of NY and New Jersey has tweeted that the terminal was evacuated out of “an abundance of caution” and that no gun shells have been found.
A short time later, police closed Terminal 1 after they said they received additional reports of shots fired in that terminal.
Passengers posted pictures and videos on Twitter that showed crowds of people gathered outside of the terminals.
Planes are being diverted from the terminal, and no flights are cleared for take off while police investigate the scene.
“All terminals searched & cleared.Negative results”.
A representative of the Port Authority of NY and New Jersey, which operates the airport, could not immediately be reached for comment.
“There is nobody shot”. At this time, no gun shells or other evidence of shots fired has been found. NYPD confirms the Port Authority has been called in to assist.
It also said that travellers should contact their carriers.

It was not immediately known if there were any injuries or arrests as part of the incident.
