Darth Vader Returns in New ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Trailer
Moviegoers are flocking to the official “Star Wars” YouTube channel to check out the new trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. This video, coming from iO9, gives the world a glimpse of what it would look like if Kylo Ren was watching the latest Rogue One trailer and what his reaction would be to seeing Darth Vader once again. He mocks and trivializes the Rebellion, particularly Donnie Yen’s “magic stick man” and the idea of using ground-to-air missiles against an AT-AT, and grows excited at the arrival of Imperial Forces.

James Earl Jones will return to voice Darth Vader. But given that this movie takes place between “Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” and “Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope“, Vader will already be a father to his two children – Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa – who are hiding somewhere throughout the galaxy.
“Grandfather? Wait, who is playing grandfather?” he angrily asks.
The new trailer shows Jyn Erson with Cassian, together with the Rebel Alliance, prepared for a unique mission, set to steal the plans for the Death Star, for this will have to face the bad Darth Vader.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (“Godzilla”), “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” hits theaters December 16.
