Darth Vader makes Star Wars return

There’s a lot of risk for Rogue One, or at least as much risk as there can be for a Star Wars movie. “It got embodied in this place we called Jedha”, he noted, revealing a new location.

As the trailer concludes, iconic franchise villain Darth Vader is teased as he is shown from behind, letting out one of his signature breaths.

Felicity Jones stars in Gareth Edwards’ film as the leader of a Rebel mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. There isn’t a single tiresome moment, and it all culminates with the Darth Vader teaser which will keep viewers talking for weeks.

The new film is set prior to 1977’s “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope“.

The new trailer for Star Wars spin-off movie Rogue One has landed – and it ends with a tantalising glimpse of Darth Vader. Thankfully, Lucasfilm has rectified this by giving fans a trailer that provides dialogue, backstory and motivation for numerous films key figures, such as: Jyn Erso (Played by Felicity Jones), Cassian Andor (Played by Diego Luna), Chirrut Îmwe (Played by Donnie Yen) and Saw Gerrera (Played by Forest Whitaker).

Last month the cast and crew shared new character details and never-before-seen images at a three-day Star Wars Celebration in London. The latest trailer, released during the Rio Olympics, seemed like the best chance to get a look at him, especially considering how large of an audience the Games can still pull in. The release date is scheduled for December 16th of this year.
