Mike Pence plans to release tax returns before election
But it is rare for a Republican to campaign in the Nutmeg State, though many Trump supporters in attendance in Fairfield were glad he did.

Trump’s Democratic rival Hillary Clinton and top USA government officials have warned of the dangers of using that kind of language to describe the conflict, arguing that it plays into militants’ hands.
Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence has repeatedly taken the exact opposite stance of Trump on a multitude of issues, in what clearly appears to be a spin-mode, damage-control, clean-up job to the many Trump messes. He explained that the media misunderstood his words because, as he tweeted, “THEY DON’T GET SARCASM”. “They never discuss the real message and never show crowd size or enthusiasm”, he complained.
In a surprise appearance, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, who in private expressed fury over some of Trump’s actions earlier this month, introduced the candidate at a campaign event in Erie, Pennsylvania, and the two hugged onstage. All major US presidential candidates in modern history have released their returns.
Frustratingly for Republicans, Trump’s missteps have overshadowed hard news for Clinton: The new release of 44 previously unreleased email exchanges Clinton had while at the State Department.
Trump claimed sarcasm in July as well after he was heavily criticized for inviting Russian Federation to dig up tens of thousands of “missing” emails from Clinton’s time as US secretary of state.
“The New York Times” yesterday catalogued a culture of crisis inside the Trump campaign.
The Times reported over the weekend that Trump calls campaign manager Paul Manafort “several times a day to talk about specific stories”. I think at some point, you have to put the party aside and say what’s best for the country?
Given that, Trump’s allies set out Sunday to bat down bad publicity and warn people not to write Trump off.
In May 2008 Hillary Clinton was being pressured to end her campaign against winning candidate Barack Obama.
“You could have covered what he was saying, or you could try and take an aside and take the Clinton narrative and play it out”. “Maybe we will start thinking about taking their press credentials away from them”, Trump said on Saturday. “This coming Monday, you’re going to see a vision for confronting radical Islamic terrorism”. “His plan, I love the tax cuts, I’m a Republican, but then he has this sort of import substitution strategy, which is a strategy like an underdeveloped country, very poor countries think that way”, Gutierrez was quoted as saying by CNN.
Trump is unique among politicians for his ability to say things that he doesn’t mean.
Though the forms do not specify who paid the couple to speak in 2015, they do show that Bill Clinton also made about $1.6 million after expenses for consulting services.
Media coverage is the positive reinforcement Trump lives for. And last month, Pence, following Trump’s nasty criticism of the Muslim-American parents of a fallen USA soldier, thanked them for the sacrifice their son made.
Trump’s campaign deflected questions Sunday about when and if the Republican presidential nominee will release his income tax returns after Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine made their 2015 returns public last week. Michael Hayden, a retired general who has headed the C.I.A. and the N.S.A., signed the national-security officials’ letter and also loudly condemned Trump’s Second Amendment comment.
Manafort repeated the line about the audit, adding in an attack about Clinton’s tax disclosures.

Trump brought Priebus on stage later at another rally, in Altoona, Pa., to thank him for the work he has done as he insisted there is great unity in the party. “I haven’t seen any stories on that yet”.
