Bill Clinton defends Hillary Clinton’s honor
Clinton and her husband Bill, the former president, reported $10.6 million in income for 2015.

Clinton and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, paid an effective federal income tax rate of 34.2 percent and an effective state and local income tax rate of 9 percent in 2015, with a total income of about 10.7 million USA dollars, according to her campaign.
The channel broadcast video of Trump urging Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate in 2012, to release his returns at the time, saying, “If you didn’t see the tax returns, you would think there is nearly, like, something wrong”. Democrats repeatedly point to this as evidence of transparency on the part of the power couple. “What is he trying to hide?” Trump has refused to make his filings public, saying they’re under audit by the Internal Revenue Service and he’ll release them only once that review is complete.
Trump senior communications advisor Jason Miller said in a statement that Americans would rather see deleted emails from Clinton’s private server, Clinton Foundation records and transcripts of speeches she gave to Wall Street business people.
“We want to see the records the night of Benghazi that explain why Secretary Clinton didn’t send in reinforcements as soon as the attack had begun”, he said of the 2012 assault on the USA consulate in Libya that killed four Americans, including the ambassador.
Trump, 70, presented the Federal Election Commission with a mandatory personal financial disclosure form in May and says this is enough.
Though a majority of supporters said they plan to vote for Trump, and had not been deterred by the candidate’s most recent controversies, many pointed to his comments as a liability for luring moderate and left-leaning voters.
Analysts said Trump needs to stop with the name calling and poke serious holes in the policies and arguments of the Clinton team. Forbes magazine estimates Trump is worth less than half that – 4.5 billion U.S. dollars. Kaine on Friday made public a decade’s worth of tax information. Clinton has endorsed a rule named after billionaire investor Warren Buffett that would ensure those making more than $1 million a year pay a tax rate of at least 30 percent.
Hillary Clinton arrives to sign her book “Hards Choices” at a bookstore on Martha’s Vineyard on August 13, 2014.
The Clintons also donated a million dollars to the non-profit foundation that bears their name.
“Former Chief Justice John Broderick of the New Hampshire Supreme Court declares Trump’s secrecy and refusal to disclose his tax returns goes against 40 years of presidential candidates’ tradition”, McMahon observed.
Most released their returns for several years, such as Bob Dole in 1996. He has already banned other outlets, including The Washington Post.
“We will really only know if he’s a real deal or he’s a phony if he releases his tax returns”, Romney said in a speech about Trump last spring.
Democrat Hillary Clinton has expanded her lead over Republican Donald Trump by seven points since June, besting her fellow New Yorker by 30 points in Monday’s Siena College poll.
His sinking poll numbers are worrying some Republicans, but party boss Reince Priebus weighed in Friday to show his support.
“He’s got to wrestle in his own heart, how does he communicate who he is, what he believes, the change he thinks he can bring to America, why what he’s doing is fulfilling the desires of the American people”, Sessions said on ABC’s “This Week”.
But media monitors say he has received more extensive coverage than any candidate in years. Not all of them.

Clinton’s lead is the largest she has held since Siena’s May 3 poll, and the 57 percent of voters who say they will cast their ballots for Clinton is her highest percentage this year.
