Nissan Titan Lineup Gets 5-Year/100K Mile Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty
Nissan today announced “America’s Best Truck Warranty”* on its 2017 TITAN and TITAN XD full-size pickups – featuring bumper-to-bumper coverage of 5-years/100,000-miles, whichever comes first.

Vehicles covered by the new warranty – which includes basic and powertrain coverage – include all TITAN V8 gasoline-powered models and diesel and V8 gasoline-powered 2017 TITAN XD models, including both 4×4 and 4×2 drive configurations, in Crew Cab and recently revealed Single Cab models.
With the expanded, bumper-to-bumper warranty, Nissan hopes the Titan, still an unfamiliar product to many USA pickup buyers since it was launched in late 2003, will garner more consideration from truck shoppers. Since then, sales of the NV200 cargo van are up 17 percent through July, while the entire van lineup has gained a 10 percent sales boost. The 2017 Titans and Titan XDs will begin arriving at Nissan dealerships nationwide later this month.

The Titan XD is now only available as a crew cab with either a 5.0-liter diesel V8 or 5.6-liter gas-powered V8 under the hood. TITAN XD models powered by the 310-horsepower Cummins® 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel and Single Cab pricing will be available later in the fall. The list steepens from there with models such as the Titan SV Crew Cab 4×4 coming in at a pricier $40,700 and the Titan Platinum Reserve Crew Cab 4×4 topping the list at $55,400. “TITAN’s new segment-leading 5-year/100,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty proves to our customers that they have every reason to have supreme confidence in their new truck”.
