Today the Spanish global was officially presented to the media as a returning Madrid player, and he offered words of praise for the Bianconeri.

The striker feels his time in Turin helped him bloom, and he is now willing to give everything for his boyhood club.

“It’s a joyous day for me”, he began. I’m back at home. “I’m back at home, it’s been two long years and a long wait for my return”.

“I thank everyone who had confidence in me”.

Do you think Real need to buy any stars players in this window?

“I’m at the most hard club in the world to play and score goals for but I’ll give my life for that because I’m a Real Madrid fan”, he told reporters.

But Morata sees no reason why he can not contribute and challenge the fearsome triumvirate for a place in the team.

Despite winning a glut of medals in Italy and scoring vital goals in the club’s run to the 2015 Champions League final, including knocking Real out in the semis, Morata was not an automatic starter, making just 27 Serie A starts for Juve.

“We are going to be able to count on one of the best strikers in the world, who we know and who has known the club since childhood”, said Perez.
