Bob Costas upsets fans when he compares Usain Bolt to Bob Marley
Usain Bolt strikes his “lightning bolt” pose after winning the 100-meter. Bolt had a shaky start out of the blocks but was able to edge out American sprinter Justin Gatlin, who received a less-than-stellar reception from the crowd inside the stadium.

“I came here to win three gold medals, I came here to prove myself as one of the greats”, Bolt said.
“But I guess some people are more vocal than others”.
After what should have been a 10-minute bus ride each way for a quick interview turned into a 90-minute trip followed by a 30-minute walk back, there was no time to get to the Olympic Stadium, even if I’d still had the energy at that point.
“I hope he can say the same for me”. “He shows up and pushes you to run fast and be at your best at all times”.
Considering his performance, Bolt might very well reach his goal. “I am not anxious about that but I am really proud of him because when he came to Jamaica I said to him, “Listen, you are the only person that I think can break this 400m world record”, Bolt said. And should he again do the treble at Rio – win the 200m and the 4×100 m relay in addition to his 100m title – for the third consecutive Olympic Games, it would be a record that won’t be broken in many lifetimes. In a lot of ways, Bolt is under a timetable too, with the athlete announcing last February that he would be retiring next year, after the 2017 World Championships.
The 100-meter dash finals in the 2016 Rio Olympics was not all about Bolt, however, as other athletes in the event showed their best performances yet.
It’s not the first time Bolt has been captured in an incredible photo.
“Congratulations to Usain Bolt”.
