Suspended Jon Jones expects to be back in Octagon ‘really soon’
“But, what I can say is that we have found out lots of really good news and I’m expecting to be back in the Octagon really soon”.

We could be seeing Jon Jones back inside the Octagon sooner than we had initially expected.
The interim light heavyweight champion was pulled from the UFC 200 card after the United States Anti-Doping Agency informed the fighter and the UFC of a failed drug test and is now serving a temporary suspension.
Johnson was famously supposed to fight Jones at UFC 187 previous year – but Jon was pulled from the fight less than a month before the match when he was arrested for a hit-and-run in New Mexico. He was removed from the UFC 200 card and is facing suspension from the United States Anti-Doping Agency and NSAC.
It should be noted Jones’ Instagram account was switched to private not soon after posting the video message. “I’ve been training, spending time with family, attacking some of these legal issues that I’ve gotten myself into, trying to really just leave that all behind once and for all”.
Nevertheless, it is still some long ways to go for Jon Jones, who many experts think is the greatest fighter in the history of the sport.
This news comes just a few weeks after the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) unanimously approved the temporary suspension of Jones.
In previous appeals, the two-year suspension usually gets reduced to six months.
Not so fast, the interim UFC light heavyweight champion says. Thank you guys for your support. “If there are any of you guys still out there”, said Jones. Love you guys and I hope you’re spending this Sunday with the people that you love.
