No Man’s Sky Datamined Assets Potentially Hint At An Xbox One Version
There is no multiplayer functionality in No Man’s Sky, other than that you can see if another player has visited the same planet as you. PC users are also complaining that No Man’s Sky keeps crashing.
This alone would likely be brushed off, but paired with Murray’s rather cautious response to the question, and the Sony rep’s eagerness to have the interview move on, means that there’s a chance that No Man’s Sky on Xbox One could be a possibility with the PS4 release being a timed exclusive. In a recent blog post, No Man’s Sky developer Sean Murray confirmed that they were busy working on fixes to many of those post-release issues. Meaning, more powerful hardware does not mean upgraded textures or a higher frame rate. Given the commercial success that is taking shape, at least we know that Sean Murray team will certainly fund to optimize and shape No Man’s Sky much as possible. “It means we can fundamentally change the experience”.

The game is so big that despite featuring online multiplayer elements, players won’t need to invest in a PlayStation plus subscription to play.
