Are these the only 5 positives from the Liverpool loss?
The Gunners made a disastrous start to the season on Sunday as they were beaten 4-3 by Liverpool at the Emirates.

Jurgen Klopp’s side raced into a 4-1 lead after barely an hour but had to negotiate a nervy finale after the Gunners twice responded. Again, for the fifth time in six years on their opening day, Arsenal didn’t win the game. He won’t be entirely happy with the performance – there’ll definitely be things we need to work on.
Within a minute, the score was back to 4-2 but, despite Calum Chambers reducing the deficit further, Liverpool were able to regroup to hold on for the three points. “They played really well in the first half, they did really well, and I have no idea if they were really involved in our goals”, explained the charismatic German. Our mistakes were so big it was so easy to talk about so we changed our way of defending and showed them where the spaces are.
Had Olivier Giroud been available, things might have been even better, as the France global forward has scored four times in his last four meetings against the Reds.
Fighting back to lose by a 3-4 scoreline with Liverpool leading 1-4 at one stage, it was a hard afternoon for Arsenal supporters to bear with the loss coming on the back of a frustrating summer in the transfer window.
Henry wants new players to be signed to the club just like many Arsenal fans but Arsene Wenger is adamant that he will only sign players who are good enough to play in his team.
In the first-half against Arsenal on Sunday, Liverpool were fairly lacklustre – which has been largely forgotten because of what we did in the second-half.
“Philippe got us back in the game with a brilliant goal, to come in level”.
Liverpool exploded into life in the second half, scoring three more times within 18 minutes of the restart to seemingly put the tie beyond Arsenal.
Coutinho drilled home his second goal of the day from point-blank range after Liverpool finished a lesson in passing football with Nathaniel Clyne sending a powerful low ball across the face of the Arsenal goal.
“There are a lot of good things”.

We now have to ask ourselves questions such as “why did Wenger allow Koscielny and co the extended holiday knowing we had a tough opening match to deal with”, and “did Vardy reject us because we no longer lack the ambition to challenge our rivals”.
