The rookie from Michigan State completed 7 of 11 passes for 71 yards. He also ran for 138 yards on 33 attempts with a long run of 24 yards. Carr also finished with the third-most passing yards in a season in franchise history. This is a very good sign for the Raiders and Coach Jack Del Rio, who is very defensive minded, was pretty happy seeing Toomer perform as such.

The defense in general was a lot of fun to watch in this game actually, their secondary was full of ball hawks that promise to make this season exciting with forcing turnovers. With Tyrann Mathieu working his way back from injury and much more, they should be able to do just that. “You gotta get down!” from behind the TV cameras.
