First Phillippe Coutinho beat him with a brilliant curling free-kick, then Adam Lallana put Liverpool in front and Coutinho extended their lead by finishing off a long passing move.
Despite being desperate to get away from the Emirates after the loss, Cech was forced to make his way back into the stadium following the crash to arrange alternative transport.
Goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers restored some pride for the Gunners but they ultimately deserved their loss.
“A great bit of magic from Phil gave us that belief and confidence going into half-time”, he said.
“Phil again came up trumps with a free kick”, Lallana told the club’s official website following Sunday’s 4-3 victory over Arsenal. Lallana admitted after the match, “We were working on them a couple of days ago- there’s no chance anyone is getting anywhere near a free-kick now”.
As he left the stadium after the match, Cech drove his auto into a pillar in the Arsenal vehicle park.
But just as that day dream was close to coming a reality, the former Chelsea stopper had to endure more frustration.
“I thought for the first 45 minutes we were excellent”.

Keen to spread the love, Coutinho quipped; “It’s not only him, we have a lot of quality players here and some who weren’t here today”.
