Biden, stumping for Clinton, trashes Trump
Biden flirted past year with his own run for president, a decision that would have scrambled the race and could have imperiled Clinton’s campaign. Clinton said especially since his proposal is to repeal the estate tax. “And we sure do miss that husband of yours”. Biden then brought up his late son, former DE attorney general Beau Biden, who served in Iraq.

“It’s still too hard for way too many to get ahead”, she said. “Together, we will make cancer as we know it a disease of the past”.
In a statement coinciding with Clinton’s appearance, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus accused her of promoting what he described as more of the same. She also took a few swipes at Trump before handing off the podium to the vice president, whom she served with as President Barack Obama’s first secretary of state. “We and in fact, all of us, will have your back, Hillary”.
Donald Trump vowed a new era of “extreme vetting” of foreign immigrants Monday – ensuring they share American values – as he attempted to recast his ban on Muslims entering the country.
“I would have thrown my body in front of him”, Biden said.
Clinton holds a 9.2 percent lead in the state, according to a RealClearPolitics average of major state polls.
As Clinton’s rally wrapped up in Pennsylvania, Trump prepared to take the stage in neighboring OH, where he delivered a speech on his terrorism plan. Bob Casey, D-Scranton and U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright.
“Had Donald Trump been president”, he said. “And then it turns out the secret is he has no plan”.
Today Clinton will hit Trump on the topic, he campaign says, and note that every modern Oval Office candidate has made the documents public, including Richard Nixon when he was also under audit.
“No major party nominee in the history of the United States of America has known less or been less prepared to deal with our national security than Donald Trump”, said Biden, who served as a USA senator for 36 years.
Clinton’s comments attacking the GOP candidate drew cheers, boos and ovations from the distinctly partisan crowd.
She says: “Oh Joe, I hope you know how much not just Scranton but America loves you and your family”. Campaign manager Robby Mook said in a statement that Trump’s “pro-Putin policy stances” raise “real concerns about the pro-Kremlin interests engaged with the Trump team”. “He is not a positive role model for our culture”.
Biden caught her arm, and Clinton laughed as she patted him on the back.
Trump has called for a ban on foreign Muslims entering the United States.
Clinton was joined on tarmac by Huma Abedin, the wife of Anthony Weiner, as well as John Podesta, the chair of her campaign.

Meanwhile, Clinton said during her speech that if she wins she will ask Biden to continue heading the campaign he is now leading against cancer, with which he has involved himself since early 2016 after his 46-year-old son Beau died of a brain tumor the previous May. “You can trust her”.
