Ledecky And Phelps Reversed The Roles In Their Famous Autograph Photo
Olympic legend Michael Phelps may be retiring, but the Americans are in good hands with Katie Ledecky as the new face of US swimming.

Phelps, who has announced his retirement – for a second time – has a full record consisting of 66 gold, 14 silver and 3 bronze medals across five Olympics, six World Championships and four Pan Pacific Championships.
Phelps says he eats less now, though he still acknowledges a breakfast that includes a three-egg omelet, three pieces of French toast and coffee. “I don’t know why”.
Since he first took the Olympic plunge at the 2000 Sydney Games he has had an ambition to take swimming into the mainstream and there is no doubt the sport has enjoyed a much higher profile during his tenure as its leading figure.
“And it turned out pretty cool”. “I’m not going four more years and I’m standing by that”, he told the Associated Press.
Ledecky could not beat Phelps’ record of eight first-place finishes at a single Olympic Games without picking up another stroke or two, but she is on track to retire with a much better percentage.
He talked of becoming a professional golfer but eventually found himself testing the waters of a swimming comeback and despite some missteps with a drunk driving conviction that led to rehab and a suspension, made his fifth Olympic team.
Boomer was born on May 5, 2016, and Phelps plans on being by his son’s side every step of the way, something Phelps didn’t experience with his own father, Fred, growing up.
A lot of encomiums have already come the way of Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian ever, who, in an worldwide career spanning 16 years, has won everything in sight in the pool. He was just sitting there looking at me, smiling the whole time.
“This camaraderie we have is so special and so unique and we do stuff like sing lip-sync videos to Call Me Maybe and show the world that yes, we’re competitors, yes, we’re fierce, but we are also having the time of our lives while we’re doing it”, Franklin said before the Games started. And now that he’s found a different goal in the sport of swimming, I think he’s gonna come back, because he wants that challenge. It was a challenge getting back to this point.
“I want to give people all over the world the opportunity to swim”, he said. That brought his career Olympic total to a record 23 golds, and 28 medals overall. This is the best place I’ve ever been in my life, with an incredible family. “This time I mean it”. The Washington Nationals stopped a game against the Atlanta Braves so fans could watch one of her races on the Jumbotron. “I wouldn’t change anything about my past”.

“I honestly don’t know”, he said.
