Apple seeds macOS 10.12 beta 6 to developers

We’re expecting Apple to hold an event in early September, where the company will unveil the iPhone 7 in addition to a possible release date for iOS 10. New Continuity features offer an “Auto Unlock” option for unlocking a Mac with an Apple Watch and a “Universal Clipboard” for copying text on one Apple device and pasting it on another.

Yesterday, Apple has released the sixth beta of macOS Sierra for developers who own a Mac. macOS Sierra was unveiled two months ago, at Apple’s 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference and the previous beta was released a week ago. But just like before, don’t forget that these are still preview builds of iOS 10 and bugs or performance issues are something to be expected.

Apple has also released a version of macOS Sierra for public beta testers with similar changes, but it isn’t sure when the new software will be officially launched this fall. The redesigned News and Music apps is also highlighted to be included in the package. MBedded even pointed out that aside from the fixes, nothing else distinguishes beta 6 from watchOS 3 beta 5.

But because Apple released them simultaneously, you don’t have to hack your way into the developer version. With the continuous development of the upcoming iOS, it will likely have some major tweaks on its features and the tech giant will ensure a more stable version. We’ve described this bug in detail here and fortunately, Apple has taken note and fixed it in record time. To install tvOS 10, developers can either connect the device to a Mac over USB or use our handy workaround to do it all with the Siri remote and your iPhone.
