Eagles trade for underachieving Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham
The Birds have reportedly acquired Tennessee Titans wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham in exchange for reserve offensive lineman Dennis Kelly. But he clearly didn’t endear himself to head coach Mike Mularkey, who called out his young receiver’s conditioning and consistency and had Green-Beckham running second team during camp. He ran a 4.39 40-yard dash, and would have been a first-round pick if not for off-the-field issues. He finished his rookie season with 32 receptions for 549 yards and four touchdowns.

Green-Beckham, 23, caught 32 passes for 549 yards and four TDs as a rookie past year. He came on late in the year after struggling early. He’s hardly a game-changer like Green-Beckham is, but provides depth to the Titans’ re-worked offensive line. It’s still interesting in that Kelly would be one of the candidates to play right tackle during Lane Johnson’s 10-game suspension.
Given the timing of the trade after experimenting with Green-Beckham for just one season, it’s clear the Titans were concerned about his character and maturity going forward.
Green-Beckham was the top WR recruit coming out of high school when he first went to Missouri, and he left the school after a domestic violence incident, sat out a year at Oklahoma, and then went pro. Josh Huff is also a, as well.

With growing concerns about the wide receiver position, the Philadelphia Eagles have made a move to add some talent to the position.
