A SC teacher is accused of driving under the influence after police say she crashed into a patrol vehicle, injuring a police officer.

“He suffered significant injuries.”, John Blackmon with the Tri County Fraternal Order of Police said.
Wendy Ellen Burnett, 24, was charged with a felony DUI following the crash on Interstate 26 in North Charleston on Saturday morning, court records say.
Authorities say a 19-year-old man was the victim of a weekend shooting in North Charleston and have released more details about the incident.
One victim was pulled from a home fire and flown to the hospital, Monday morning.
