VP Joe Biden: Donald Trump is ‘thoroughly unqualified’ for presidency
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will join Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail on Monday in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

But aides say Biden’s role will still be crucial.
“Trump’s ideas are not only profoundly wrong, they’re very risky and they’re very un-American”. He would’ve loved Stalin.
But it turned out to not be true like much of what Mr. Trump says. Trump has praised autocratic leaders like Russian president Vladimir Putin and said Saddam Hussein was good at “killing terrorists”.
Clinton said the defeat of ISIS, a sprawling menace tied to attacks by radicalized extremists in Europe, the United States, Africa and the Middle East, “won’t be easy or quick, but make no mistake, we will prevail”.
He focused especially on Trump’s claim that President Barack Obama founded ISIS, a claim Trump later said he made sarcastically. He has promised a tougher stance with America’s adversaries and end to the chaos that has spread out of Iraq and Syria.
In her remarks Clinton reiterated that Trump is not fit to lead the country. “No, Donald, you don’t”.
Vice President Joe Biden said that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump could not be trusted with the nuclear codes during a speech in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on August 15 (video below).
Biden cited his son’s death as the key factor in his decision not to run for the Democratic nomination himself this year, and he officially endorsed Clinton in June.
Her pitch for president remained the same as it’s been.
In the coming weeks, Biden will also campaign elsewhere in Pennsylvania, as well as in Ohio, Michigan and Florida, to support both Clinton and Democratic candidates in hotly contested campaigns for Senate seats.
Clinton and Biden took the stage holding hands, and Clinton was waiting on the tarmac with a warm embrace when the vice president arrived in Pennsylvania.
Among the day’s set pieces beyond the rally was a trip to the home Biden grew up in, just blocks from where Clinton’s father’s family lived. It really did, meant a lot.
He pointed out to a crowd in his native Scranton, Penn., the individual in his entourage who carries what is known colloquially as the “nuclear football”, a briefcase used to authorize the launch of atomic weapons.
But Bill Clinton has a different perspective: When asked Saturday at a gathering of the Asian American Journalists Association about why Americans should trust his wife after she lied about her emails, Bill Clinton said, “Wait a minute”.
In her statement on Monday, Clinton said she wanted to “strengthen the nation’s entire scientific enterprise”.
Even as polls show her leading Trump, Clinton has faced lingering questions about her trustworthiness in the fallout of her use of a private email server as secretary of state and over her family’s sprawling foundation.
The first joint appearance of Biden and Clinton was originally scheduled for early July but was postponed following the killing of five police officers in Dallas.

“What Hillary is all about is making sure that every one of you can look your child, your grandchild, in the eye and say, ‘It’s going to be OK, ‘” Biden said.
