Obama tells Democrats not to get overconfident about Clinton victory
Speaking Monday from a fundraising event for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton during a two-week vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, Reuters reported, Obama warned overconfident Democrats could still blunder their way into a loss in November despite a Trump campaign even many Republicans worry is tanking hard. The president and his family are vacationing in the MA island of Martha’s Vineyard.

The motorcade with US President Barack Obama returns to his compound after he attended a fundraiser in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in Chilmark. Obama is interrupting his summer vacation to do some campaigning for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee.
Obama will deliver remarks at the event, but the media will not be permitted to hear his answers to questions asked by some of the donors in attendance.
The president also praised his work on fighting climate change, calling it “a genuine existential threat that we all face and, more importantly, our children and our grandchildren face”.
Something happened to Obama during his summer vacation on Martha’s Vineyard: He turned into a night owl.
The White House said Obama is eager to hit the campaign trail and be as helpful as possible to fellow Democrats.
Clinton did not join Obama at the fundraiser.
President Barack Obama emerged from his Martha’s Vineyard vacation for a fundraiser, but he didn’t mention any of the devastating events now affecting the United States. Earlier Monday, she made her first campaign appearance with Vice President Joe Biden in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, a state both she and Trump are competing to win.
“Frankly I’m exhausted of talking about her opponent”, Obama told 60 donors who had paid $10,000 to attend the fundraiser.
Clinton’s opponent eight years ago, Obama has become one of his former Secretary of State’s staunchest allies. So far, he has indulged in six rounds of golf, his favorite outdoor pastime, six dinner outings at a mix of familiar and new restaurants, two afternoons at the beach and a couple of trail walks.
