Poll Shows NY Blow Out for Hillary
Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump in another swing state, according to a new poll, holding a wide lead over the GOP presidential nominee in Virginia. On the campaign trail, he often says she is “unbalanced” and “unstable”: “Unstable Hillary Clinton lacks the judgment, temperament and moral character to lead this country – and I believe that so strongly”, Trump said in Iowa this month. According to RCP’s state averages, Clinton is now on-track to win 362 electoral votes to Trump’s 176.

The poll shows Clinton leading Trump 56 percent to 20 percent among voters under the age of 35.
Clinton might also be buoyed by her VP choice, Tim Kaine, the former governor and current senator from the state, who has a long history in local politics. At that time, Clinton had 44% to 35% for Trump.
Donald Trump is a complete catastrophe for the Republican Party.
“Given the catastrophic impact that Donald Trump’s losing presidential campaign will have on down-ballot Senate and House races, we urge you to immediately suspend all discretionary RNC support for Trump and focus the entirety of the RNC’s available resources on preserving the GOP’s congressional majorities”, says the letter, whose draft CBS reported on last week when there were already 70 signatures.
Needless to say, there isn’t much upside in these numbers. In this case, the poll has a credibility interval of +/- 3.1 percentage points.
For comparison, according to the Washington Post, exit polls from the 2008 and 2012 elections showed John McCain won 32 percent of voters 18-30 and in 2012, Mitt Romney won 36 percent of the same age group. Trump has a 69/25 lead with white voters, but the reason the state’s so competitive overall is that among non-white voters Clinton has a 73-21 lead, including a 68-27 edge with the state’s booming Hispanic population.
Dozens of top Republicans who used to hold office have denounced Trump recently, with some even endorsing Clinton. Trump actually leads in this demo by 20 points in the binary race (50/30) and by 10 in the four-way race (42/32). Whatever issues Trump has, it’s not with veterans. Times have changed: He liked Clinton, Clinton messed up, and now he doesn’t like her, easy enough. They represent 63 Electoral College votes, which is why I featured them in my book Going Red.
According to a new USA TODAY/Rock The Vote poll, Donald Trump is performing at nearly record lows among young American voters.

It’s still early enough to see a momentum shift, but Election Day is getting closer, and Trump’s running out of time.
