EDGARTOWN, Mass. (AP) – Golf, afternoons at the beach and. political campaigning?

Obama has taken time out from his two-week break in Martha’s Vineyard, an island off the coast of MA, to help raise money to support Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid in the November 8 election.

President Obama spent Monday afternoon on the golf course as the First Family’s vacation continues on Martha’s Vineyard.

The event is taking place at a private residence in Chilmark, the town where the president is renting a vacation home.

After speaking, Obama apparently did not allow the reporters putting together the pool report to hear his answers to questions from the donors.

Tickets cost up to $33,400, party officials said, with the money going to Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee and state parties across the country.

The White House said the First Family, a description signifying the inclusion of Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha, had joined friends for a “social event” at the Southern seafood restaurant.

The Goldbergs were originally slated to host a fundraiser with Obama at their condo in Chevy Chase, Maryland, in May.

“Frankly, I’m exhausted of talking about her opponent”, Obama said.

He has repeatedly blasted Trump for the Republican nominee’s comments on a myriad of issues and took a break from his vacation to stress that Democrats can not be complacent with 83 days to go until the election. He endorsed her right after the primaries and caucuses ended in June.

“Or he is the president of the united states with a pretty big day job”, was the terse reply.

Clinton is not expected to appear with Obama. He’s expected to spend much of the fall stumping for Clinton.

Clinton’s opponent eight years ago, Obama has become one of his former Secretary of State’s staunchest allies. So far, he has indulged in seven rounds of golf, five dinner outings, two afternoons at the beach and a couple of trail walks.
