Enfield EMS saves a squirrel trapped in a cup
EMS workers in CT found themselves in a bit of a nutty situation.

But that’s exactly what emergency responders in CT did on Friday.
An empty styrofoam cup got stuck on a squirrel’s head in Connecticut, US and despite numerous flips and jumps, the poor thing could not get the cup off its head.
Enfield EMS didn’t respond to a call for this squirrel, this lucky squirrel happened to be in the right place at the right time.
Finally, while one rescuer traps the squirrel using a sheet, another pulls the cup off its head, and the unencumbered squirrel dashes off into the woods. “We don’t go looking for animals in distress and we really do not have an animal response team”, said Enfield EMS Chief Wiemokly.
“Do squirrels bite?” asks an Enfield, Conn. emergency medical technician in a video posted to Facebook on Friday.

The squirrel seemed uninjured by the whole situation.
