Hillary Clinton builds on lead over Donald Trump — UPI/CVoter poll
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is leading Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by just 6 percentage points in deep-red Texas, according to a new poll. The proposal was one of several Trump outlined in an OH speech laying out his vision for fighting Islamic extremism. The briefing will be led by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). He said the policy would first require a temporary halt in immigration from unsafe regions of the world.

But he didn’t say which countries or regions would be subject to the “extreme” vetting, and his announcement that government agencies would create the list suggested that would not happen before the election in November. “Our country has enough problems”. We don’t need more. Republicans have called for Clinton not to be given classified information in light of FBI Director James Comey’s conclusion that she had been “extremely careless” in her use of a homebrew private email server as secretary of state.
“All too often I’m asked about a “poll” put out by a liberal organization that says the American people disagree with our common-sense reforms to fix our country”, Trump wrote.
Under Mr Trump’s plan, citizens from countries with a history of terror will be banned but it is not clear which nations.
“We will be tough, and we will be even extreme”, said Trump at a campaign rally in Youngstown, Ohio, casting the fight against “Radical Islamic Terrorism” as this generation’s Cold War.
“Hillary Clinton wants to be America’s Angela Merkel and you know what a disaster this massive immigration has been to Germany”, he told a crowd.
Trump has made attacks on media a pillar of his strategy from the beginning (though he has also used the media and its free coverage to his advantage).
While critics argue Trump’s rhetoric alienates moderate Muslims, he promised to include those voices in a new commission on radical Islam.
“We want to build bridges and erase divisions”.
Vice President Joe Biden, who stumped with Clinton in his hometown of Scranton, Pa., called Trump’s claim that President Obama was an ISIS “founder” unsafe to USA troops overseas. “As she threw the Middle East into violent turmoil, things turned out really to be not so hot”.
Obama has held up Bush’s years-long commitment to setting up and securing a new government in Iraq after the initial invasion as a reason to avoid US military intervention in countries like Syria. “Since my comments, they have changed their policy”, Trump said, calling this apparent development “very, very good”.
The businessman is more and more convinced that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama founded ISIS, as he kept blaming the two in his discourse. That number drops to 17 per cent for Trump.
