Actor Robert De Niro addresses journalist in Sarajevo, Bosnia where he said US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is like his Travis Bickle character.

The 72-year-old, who has starred in over 100 films, received the festival’s “Heart of Sarajevo” award in front of 3,000 festival goers at an open air viewing of “Taxi Driver“. I don’t know.it’s insane to have people like Donald Trump who are totally. shouldn’t even, shouldn’t even be where he is.so.
At the end of “Taxi Driver“, De Niro noted, Bickle goes back to being a cab driver – hinting that Trump should stick to being a businessman. Apparently, though, De Niro didn’t realize just how controversial and offensive the anti-vaccination movement is to some people, so he chose to pull the film after everybody got mad at him.

De Niro continued on the matter in saying that the media were giving Trump too much attention, yet they are now starting to really question some of the more controversial comments things that the candidate has said.
De Niro was handed the lifetime achievement award for his contribution to film at the festival, which was created as an act of defiance in the face of the city’s siege during the Bosnian war.
